The Natural T-bone steak is a true showstopper. Similar to the porterhouse steak, the natural t-bone is cut from the short loin. So, both include a “t” shaped bone.

So, what is the difference between a porterhouse and T-bone?
All porterhouses are T-Bones, but a T-Bone isn’t a porterhouse. The difference between a natural T-bone steak and a porterhouse is the size of the tenderloin side. A porterhouse steak has a significantly larger portion of filet meat when compared to the natural T-bone steak. To compare in ounces, the natural T-bone steaks at Painted Hills Natural Beef are 24 ounces where our porterhouse steaks are 28 ounces.

A little about our beef:

Painted Hills Natural Beef is made up of ranchers in Wheeler County, Central Oregon, who raise cattle and steward the land in the shadow of the state’s famed Painted Hills.

So while times have changed in 25 years, ranching the way nature intended has not. We are proud to pasture raise our cattle without added hormones and no antibiotics because we raise a beef product as striking as the natural wonders it’s named after.

Again, we thank you for trusting us to feed you, your friends, and your family. Please share the finished product with us at Painted Hills Natural Beef on Facebook and Instagram.

All Painted Hills Natural Beef USDA Choice Natural T-bone steaks are 24 ounces and packaged and sold individually.
