Ingredients

  • 2 1/2Tbsp.Olive Oil
  • 1/2Tsp.Minced Ginger
  • 4Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1/2C.Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1/4C.Water
  • 1/2C.Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1LbsPainted Hills Natural Beef New York Strip Steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/3C.Cornstarch
  • 2Shredded Carrots
  • 2C.Broccoli

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a small pan over medium low. Add ginger and garlic and stir just until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add soy sauce, water and brown sugar and bring to a boil. Let boil 3-5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Set aside.
  2. 241868517_178097481129337_5684547017216949378_n Slice the New York steak into ΒΌ" slices and toss with cornstarch. Gently shake off any excess.
  3. 241819524_226509256103909_3196911888087032253_n Place 1 tablespoon at a time of oil in a pan or wok and heat over medium high heat. Cook the beef in small batches for about 2 minutes. (It doesn't need to cook all of the way through, it will cook completely when combined with the sauce).
  4. 241817776_565209131289743_5969138895645874179_n Cook carrots and broccoli until tender, then combine with beef and sauce.
  5. 241862794_156254763334867_4262888773647503094_n Once all the beef has been cooked, combine with the sauce and heat over medium until hot and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in green onions. Serve over rice.
